Wall panels
PUR Panel frame
- Panels consist of strong LVL, PUR insulation and OSB
- The closed-cell insulation foam is inserted into panels in liquid mode with special technology and thereby leaves no air gaps
- Structural roof and floor panels are enforced with inner panel LVL beams
- LVL & OSB can be replaced with any other material
PUR panel advantages
Advantages over traditional construction methods
- PUR panels are up to 50% more thermal efficient than walls using stud framing and fiberglass insulation. There are less gaps, drafts and air leakageThe closed-cell insulation foam is inserted into panels in liquid mode with special technology and thereby leaves no air gaps
- While the materials cost about the same, it is much less expensive to build with PUR panels (less labor needed and much faster construction)
- PUR panels are more fire resistant as they do not have air channels between layers that allow fire to “run up” the inside of the wall
- Less material waste as panels are made in a factory with precise machinery rather than by hand on site
- PUR panels are actually much stronger than traditional wood stud construction as the
- internal foam acts as a brace and support along the entire length and width of the outside layers
